Instructions—

  1. Preheat your oven to 160 degrees fan.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and crushed Oreos. Set aside for later.

  3. Melt your butter in the microwave and the whisk it together with the eggs, milk, and vanilla.

  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry, stirring until a thick batter forms.

  5. Fold in 50g of the chocolate orange until well distributed throughout.

  6. Lightly grease the wells of your 6 hole doughnut pan. Pour the batter into the wells until 3/4 full.

  7. Bake the doughnuts for 15-17 minutes, or until a knife comes out clean when inserted.

  8. Remove the doughnuts from the oven and leave to cool for a minute. After a minute, loosen the doughnuts from their wells using a knife. Turn the pan upside down and the doughnuts should fall out. Leave to cool completely before decorating.

  9. Melt the renaming 100g of chocolate orange in the microwave. Either dip the doughnuts into the chocolate or pour it over the top.

  10. Mix your icing sugar with the water until a slightly thick glaze forms. Add in the orange food colouring until you reach your desired colour. Drizzle this on top of the doughnuts.

  11. Garnish with a chocolate orange segment and serve.

  12. Enjoy!

Note:

These should keep in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
