Jessica’s Delicacies
Oreo Krispy Squares!
Ingredients -
5 tbsp golden syrup
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp light brown sugar
125g rice puffs
150g Dairy Milk Oreo
150g milk chocolate
50g white chocolate
6 Oreos.
Note: you can use all Dairy Milk Oreo if you want. I just used what I had in the house. The white chocolate is also optional, I just use it to do a marbled effect.
Directions -
In a saucepan over a medium heat melt together the butter, 50g milk chocolate, 50g dairy milk Oreo chocolate, sugar and golden syrup.
Take off the heat and mix in the rice puffs.
Tip the mixture into a lined 9x9 inch square dish and spread it out evenly.
Melt 100g milk chocolate and 100g dairy milk Oreo chocolate in the microwave and pour it on top.
Melt 50g white chocolate in the microwave. Place blobs of it around the chocolate.
Using a skewer or sharp knife swirl it around the chocolate to create a marbled effect.
Place a few Oreos on top and put the dish in the fridge and let it set for approximately 2 hours.
Once set, cut into squares.
