Malteser flapjacks!


Ingredients -

90g butter

90g light brown sugar

90g golden syrup

150g rolled oats

150g Malteser spread

Handful of maltesers

Optional - white chocolate


Instructions -

  1. Preheat your oven to 140 degrees fan and line an 8” square dish with baking paper.

  2. In a saucepan over a medium heat melt together the butter, sugar and golden syrup.

  3. Once melted take off the heat and mix in the oats until well combined.

  4. Pour the flapjack into the square dish and press it down evenly.

  5. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes. Leave aside to cool once baked.

  6. Melt your Malteser spread and pour on top of the flap jack. Spread it out evenly.

  7. Grab a handful of maltesers and place on top of the flapjack.

  8. If using white chocolate, melt it in the microwave and drizzle it on top of the flapjack.

  9. Leave to set in the fridge for a couple of hours.

  10. Once set, cut into squares and enjoy!
