Malteser bunny krispy treats!

Ingredients -

250g white jumbo marshmallows

150g Rice Krispies

100g chocolate spread

50g unsalted butter


Decoration -

200g chocolate spread

100g milk chocolate

50g crushed Maltesers

8 mini Malteser bunnies


Instructions -

  1. In a saucepan over a medium heat melt together the marshmallows and butter.

  2. Once melted take off the heat and stir in the chocolate spread until smooth.

  3. Pour in the Rice Krispies and mix until well coated.

  4. Pour into a lined 9x9” square tin and press down with the back of a spoon. If you butter the spoon it makes it easier to press down.

  5. Melt together the chocolate spread and milk chocolate and pour over the top of the Rice Krispies.

  6. Place your Malteser bunnies on top of the spread and push down gently. Sprinkle your crushed Maltesers and then put into the fridge to set for 2 or so hours.

  7. Once set, cut into squares and serve. Enjoy!
