Dairy milk caramel muffins!

Ingredients - 5 jumbo muffins
200g plain flour
130g unsalted butter, melted
150g golden caster sugar
2 medium eggs
100g milk chocolate, chopped
100g dairy milk caramel
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salted caramel extract or vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
5 tsp caramel sauce (I either use carnation caramel or this one - https://amzn.to/3gnAzW6)

Instructions -
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees fan and line a muffin tray with 5 cases.
Melt your butter in the microwave and leave aside to cool.
Add the salted caramel or vanilla extract to the cooled butter along with the eggs. Mix to combine.
Sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Pour into the butter mixture and gently fold in until combined.
Fold in the chocolate pieces until well distributed throughout.
Distribute the muffin batter evenly between the 5 cases. Place in the centre of the oven to bake.
Bake the muffins for 5 minutes and then reduce the heat to 160 degrees fan and cook for a further 22-25 minutes.
Once baked, leave the muffins to cool completely before inserting a tsp of caramel sauce into the centre of the muffins. Drizzle some on top as well and place a square of Dairy milk caramel chocolate on top.
Serve and enjoy!
