115g unsalted butter.
175g golden caster sugar.
280g plain flour.
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda.
A pinch of salt.
1 large egg.
1 tsp of vanilla extract.
150g crunchie bars, chopped.
150g milk chocolate.
Preheat your oven to 170 degrees fan and line a 9” square dish.
Melt the butter in the microwave and mix with the sugar until smooth and well combined.
Add in the egg and vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl whisk together the flour, bicarbonate of soda and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet, stirring as you pour.
Add in the crunchie bar and milk chocolate pieces. Mix until evenly distributed.
Push the cookie dough into the square tin and bake in the oven for approximately 18-20 minutes.
Once cooked, take the cookie out of the oven and allow to cool down on the side. It will continue to cook as it cools.
Once set, cut into squares and serve.
