Note: You will need a doughnut mould for this recipe. I use this one: https://amzn.to/3jsl1Az

Ingredients - 12 fauxnuts.

440g plain flour

200g granulated sugar

200ml whole milk

1 large egg

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

2 tbsp unsalted butter

2 tsp vanilla or salted caramel flavouring

2 tbsp Biscoff spread

1/2 tsp salt

Instructions -

  1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees fan and grease your doughnut mould.

  2. Sift your flour, baking powder, salt and sugar into a bowl and whisk together.

  3. Melt your butter in a bowl and add in the egg, vanilla or salted caramel flavouring and milk.

  4. Pour the mixture into the bowl of flour and mix until it forms a dough.

  5. Spoon the dough into the doughnut moulds, filling them half way.

  6. Bake in the oven for 18-20 minutes or until slightly golden brown.

  7. Once baked leave aside to cool and then take out of the mould.

  8. Melt the Biscoff spread in the microwave.
