Jessica’s Delicacies
After Eight brownies!

Ingredients -
120g granulated sugar 150g unsalted butter 50g cocoa powder 70g plain flour 100g dark chocolate
150g After Eights, chopped
50g milk chocolate, chopped
3 medium eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
Optional -
50g white chocolate
A few drops of dark green food colouring (I use these: https://amzn.to/2JjJWty)

Instructions -
Preheat your oven to 160 degrees fan. Line a 9x9” square dish with baking paper and leave aside for later.
In a bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar together until pale and doubled in size.
In a separate bowl, melt the butter and dark chocolate together in the microwave.
Add the butter/chocolate mixture to the eggs and sugar. Gently mix until combined.
Fold in the flour, cocoa powder, salt and the After Eight & milk chocolate pieces. Mix until combined.
Pour the brownie mixture into the square dish and level with the back of a spoon.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked or a knife comes out with a bit of wet crumb when inserted. Leave to cool completely in the tin before removing.
Place some After Eights on top of the brownies. Melt the white chocolate in the microwave and add the green food colouring. Drizzle on top of the brownies.
Cut the brownies into squares and serve.
